Spreading Joy 🪙💎

Recently, I have been leaning more and more towards biographies and memoirs because of the endless wisdom and fun they have to offer, and choosing this book was a step in that direction. I am not really interested in jewellery and ornaments, so I had no prior information about the Joyalukkas brand or its success story.

While reading, I could very well connect to young Joy being the person who was assigned extra tasks just because no one else was interested in doing them. I liked that he didn't mind that and wanted to earn his father's approval. His father's opinion and advice mattered to him a lot, and he immensely respected him. Noticing his father's actions and understanding his thought process was one of the reasons that helped Joy's success, I believe.

I was impressed at how Joy dealt with obstacles in his life. He was really good at eyeing opportunities in business and using them to his advantage. He was not afraid of taking risks, and that made him an excellent businessman. When his elder brother mocked him, instead of doing the same, he let his success make all the noise, and that is the attitude of a winner.

I also had zero knowledge about the technicalities involved in gold or gems, and this book gave me so much knowledge, which I know will come in handy someday.

To sum up, I absolutely loved the book; it had a lot to offer. It has certainly increased my hunger for such amazing and didactic books.
